Investigation Conclusion

Several noises were heard during the investigation.  Some of the noises were able to be explained away as noises caused by walking on a wood floor, or even by the normal sounds of a building settling.  However, there are two incidents that were not so easily explained away.

Twice during the investigation a loud noise or bang was heard from the direction of the bathroom.  Each time both teams heard the noise but denied that they made the noise.  One of the investigators remarked that the noise sounded almost metallic as if someone walked on some metal.  Upon investigating the area around the bathroom, the investigator noticed that there is a metal fire escape on the outside wall next to the bathroom.  That investigator asked another investigator to go outside and walk on the fire escape to try to determine if someone walking on the fire escape could have caused the noise.  The investigator walking on the fire escape did not sound the same as the noise that was heard and no cause for the sound could be determined.

Later during the investigation two investigators were sitting along the wall closest to the kitchen when the KII meter began to light up on its own.  The investigators began to “communicate” with a presence in the room by asking questions and the presence answering by making the lights on the KII light up.  During this session an EVP was obtained.  A transcript of the session and an audio clip of the EVP are included in this report.

Please note that there are many factors that can cause a KII to light up.  Therefore, while interesting, it is not conclusive.  It is interesting to note that the KII meter seemed to light up only when a question was answered.  The information gathered during this session suggests that the presence is a woman between 30-40 years old who was married and lived in Miamitown.  The EVP that was obtained indicates that the woman’s name was "Eve".
