Jeff Morris
Investigator in Training

When Jeff was in the fourth grade, he checked a book on true ghost stories out of the school library and spent that evening reading the stories.  He slept with the lights on for a week.  His interest in the paranormal in his adult life began in 2006.  He had come across a series of stories about haunted locations in his neighborhood and visited these sites in hopes of experiencing something.  While he didn't find anything that night, he developed a deep interest in the paranormal.  His major avenue of interest soon became the history behind the hauntings; he wanted to know whether or not the ghost stories had any basis in historical fact (whether there had actually been a suicide or murder etc. at the various locations).  He enlisted the help of his brother Mike to research the history of Cincinnati area ghosts, and together they decided to write a book on Cincinnati's spooks.  While working on the book, they started the area's first year-round ghost tour in Miamitown, Ohio, a tour which still runs to this day.

Jeff first came into contact with CAPER on the first Friday the 13th in 2007 when CAPER came on the ghost tour.  Since then CAPER and Jeff have retained a professional relationship until he was officially invited to join the group on June 13th of 2009, soon after the release of his and his brother's book Haunted Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio.  He is looking forward to an educational and interesting experience while with CAPER.

If there were one place in Cincinnati that Jeff would like to investigate, it would be the Cincinnati Subway.
