MEET OUR RESEARCH SPECIALISTS
Joy Naylor
Director
Like most of the other CAPER members Joy has had an active interest in the paranormal since childhood. By day Joy works in the real estate industry. This industry led Joy to people who were wanting additional information on "stigmatized" properties, so with this she stepped up and began a research career for over 13 years now. With a degree in Broadcasting she likes meeting and interviewing people and getting "their" story. Helping people who live and work with the unknown on a daily basis who need reassurance, confirmation or corrective information about what they are dealing with.
Joy is also the founder of the ParaResearch Foundation, an Inner Circle member with IGHS, a fellow at the American Society for Psychical Research, Ohio researcher for Neuropsychiatric Institute, and a freelance writer for numerous parapsychology magazines.
Stacey Naylor-Cookman
Group Facilitator & Investigator
Growing up with a family who has study the paranormal for years Stacey has developed an inquisitive, intuitive nature. She believes in finding logical answers and will search for all probable explanations before stating that something simple can’t be explained. Stacey is currently working on her PsyD. She is an avid reader and a sponge for knowledge, she loves spending time in nature, meditating and doing Yoga.
Laura
Investigator In Training
Laura has always been interested in the paranormal for as long as she can remember. She always looks for a reasonable explanation but sometimes there just isn't one. Laura has experienced things herself that are unexplainable and would like to help other people understand what is going on to alleviate some fear or anxiety they may be feeling which is why she joined CAPER.
Sarah
Investigator In Training
Sarah has had a fascination with the paranormal since she was young. Over the years she has had several paranormal experiences that have left her wanting to know and experience more. She joined CAPER in hopes of meeting other individuals that share her passion for the paranormal and to help others who think they are having paranormal experiences too. It is important to Sarah to have conclusive evidence to back up her personal experiences. Because it is impossible to test the paranormal under absolutely controlled conditions, you have to get as close to that as possible. That professional scientific approach is what Sarah has found with CAPER.

Our Mascot
Michele Hale
Director
I’ve been interested in all areas of the paranormal for as long as I can remember. I have had my share of paranormal experiences, which lead me to find a group of people who have also had those experiences.
Being the director and co-founder of CAPER will help me learn as much as I can about ghosts and other paranormal activity. I feel that it is the responsibility of CAPER to assist the general public to find the answers to their paranormal questions. Doing that lets us gather evidence that my one day prove the existence of ghosts once and for all.
When I’m not with my group, or ghost hunting on my own, I love to read and gather as much knowledge about as many different topics as I can especially about paranormal spots around the world such as the Nazca Lines, Stonehenge and Easter Island. I also like to watch movies, spend time with my dog and my family and just generally have a good time with my friends no mater what we are doing.
Troy Hale
Investigator
I've been interested in the paranormal for a long time. I have felt and seen a lot of things that I feel are paranormal. Which intern makes me want to find out what it is that I am feeling or seeing. So I hooked up with my friends at CAPER, bought some equipment and now I'm learning a lot about ghost hunting through the group.
Matt Hoskins
Tech Specialist
Matt became interested in the paranormal at a young age. Fortunate enough to travel the globe as a child, he collected as much info on ghosts and legends as he could. He is well versed in demonology and religion, but feels that an appropriate level of skepticism is needed for every investigation. Matt hopes to bring a scientific, but open approach to CAPER.
Noah
Investigator In Training
Noah works in the computer industry by day and is a loving husband and father to 3 active boys. When he isn't out hunting the supernatural, he also enjoys coaching football and playing video games. With his intense interest in the paranormal, Noah feels that CAPER gives him the opportunity to discover the unknown. Noah brings his technical and building knowledge to the group. His skeptical mind and debunking style gives a lot to the group. Noah likes CAPER because the group shares the same investigating and debunking style.
