Investigation Site: 311 Ohio Ave., Hooven, OH 45033
Site History
The Hooven Fire Department was organized in 1951 a year later land was purchased from Joseph York and construction started of the firehouse and was finished in 1953. Information gathered by Mitch Gadd from Sue Gaither Vanzant who relayed that her father Howard Gaither had obtained fill dirt from the property location as they were doing construction on the firehouse. As Mr. Gaither was spreading the dirt in his yard he found various items including arrows heads and bits of bone. Mitch Gadd and Paul Fritch, an authority of Native Americans in this area, did research and determined the Hooven Fire House was most likely built on an Adena Indian Burial Mound, a prehistoric American Indian people. They were the first people in this region to settle down. The Adena Indians were followed by the Hopewell Indians. Various tribes made the Hooven area their home until the mass settlement, of the area by the white man in the late 1700s forced them to move West. By 1795 the Indians were gone, leaving their communities and burial mounds behind. (Gadd, M)

EVP's
All of the above EVP's are of footsteps. Investigators were hearing these footsteps while in the bay area. Video confirms that investigators were not moving.
There were many knocking noises that were recorded at the time of the investigation, Because of a drop in pressure we have to rule all of these noises out.
Investigation Conclusion
No conclusive evidence was obtained during the investigation to prove a haunting. However, the EVP and video evidence suggest a residual haunting. Further investigation could help to definitively determine if there is indeed a haunting.
